It's that time of year again: awards season. Which means beautiful gowns, handsome men in tuxedos, fabulous hair, flawless makeup...and total disasters. Thankfully awards season starts in January...because it gives me something to look forward to after the holidays.
So I'll get right to it...here's my top contenders from last night's 71st Golden Globe Awards:

Margot Robbie
Oh, wow! Margot Robbie looks absolutely amazing in this plunging v-neck Gucci gown. The dress has clean lines with just a bit of pizazz with the jewels. Not to mention it fits her body perfectly. The pulled back hair, emerald shoes (to match the jewels), and minimal jewelry makes this look even classier.

Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett is a timeless beauty. She looks gorgeous in anything she wears, especially this lace Armani Prive gown. I especially love the higher neckline and sleeves that balances out the sheer lace. Perfect hair...and those earrings!!!

Let's hear it for Miss Golden Globe, Sosie Bacon. Although this nude Rhea Costa gown is a bit too long, it's absolutely beautiful on her and compliments her skin tone and hair color. Kudos, Sosie (really love this entire look and her hair)!

I'm sure there are people who disagree with me, but I think Emma Watson's Dior gown over pants was spectacular! It's fun, young, edgy, and unique. I think it's refreshing, too, and she definitely stood out in a sea of gowns.

Olivia Wilde is my top look of the night. I don't think there is a single thing she could have done differently. The color of her dress makes her eyes sparkle and skin glow. She looks effortlessly chic. Btw, the dress is Gucci....the 2nd Gucci dress I've liked on the red carpet.
