Anyone who loves fashion, should really appreciate the Grammy's Red Carpet. It's widely known that this particular awards show is the one to take fashion risks, but some are more like fashion kills. This year's red carpet didn't disappoint with plenty of "wows" and "wtfs"....
So here we go....starting with my faves (and you'll notice a trend)...
Ciara in Emilio Pucci:
I have to admit...I kinda have a girl crush on Ciara. She looks flawless in in this custom Emilio Pucci gown. Her makeup and hair are just perfect!
Rita Ora in Lanvin
I love the balance of the short hemline and the long sleeves, especially when most other women are wearing long gowns. Her manicure is quite interesting as well, if you happened to catch it on the mani-cam on E!.
Chrissy Teigen in Johanna Johnson and John Legend in Gucci
OMG gorgeous couple alert! How amazing do these two look? They definitely deserve the Best Dressed Couple award. Her dress is jaw-dropping along with those tousled waves and soft makeup, while his suit is such a perfect fit and with a little 5 o'clock shadow...exquisite!
Taylor Swift - Gucci Premiere
So...I always get "has anyone ever told you that you look like Taylor Swift?"...and I'm usually not flattered by it. I actually don't think I look anything like her...other than having curly hair. But, tonight, I'll take that question as a compliment! Girl looks ahhh-ma-zing! I don't think I've ever seen her look so statuesque and graceful. Stunning!
Just curious...did you pick up on my trend? Everyone was sparkly and shiny!
Now for the misses....
Katy Perry - Valentino
Let me preface this: I don't hate this dress...I actually think this dress is awesome...but not on Katy Perry. I think this dress would suit someone with more edge, like Pink, Rihanna, or Lady Gaga. It could also suit someone with more diva status like Beyonce. Maybe I just don't like Katy Perry?
Paris Hilton in House of Milani
I just don't like it. What is she doing there anyway???
Pharrell Williams with a Vivienne Westwood Hat
So, Pharrell wants to remind everyone that "only you can prevent forest fires." Smokey Bear called...he wants his hat back.
Ariana Grande in Dolce & Gabbana
I get it...she's 20, but is she going for tea? Or going to the Grammy's?
And just in case you were wondering how to wear a suit on the red carpet, I'll leave you with Madonna in Ralph Lauren. Yoko Ono, you're doing it wrong.
